Former Amway Distributor 1000 PV Pin Recognition Personal Story

$

I reached 1000 PV my third month in the Amway business. That was June 2002. I was affiliated with the World Wide Dream Builders line of sponsorship. My upline Diamond was Mike Popovich and my Platinum was Keith Gramprie. At the time, I was an Active Duty Army Officer stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado.

I don’t remember my exact statistics, but I think I had six personally sponsored IBOs and 16 total IBOs in my group, when I reached the 1,000 PV Pin. Of those six personally sponsored IBOs, two had 100 PV or higher. My personal PV was 300 to 400.

amway 1000 pv pinWhen I got my first bonus check, it was around $400. After I paid my downline distributors their cut, my commission was around $300. Even though it wasn’t a large amount of money, I was still very excited about the potential of my Amway business. I knew that it I kept focusing on retailing and recruiting, I would make even more money. Simply put, my belief level in the business was at an all time high.

For the next two years, I continued to build my Amway business. Eventually, I flattened out around 3,000-4,000 PV. I maintained that level for approximately 12 months. Shortly thereafter, my group vanished and my momentum died. It wasn’t too long after my group quit that I quit. Although I never reached Platinum, I’m proud of my accomplishments during my time in the Amway business.

I’m trying to reach out to former and current Amway distributors. If you ever reached 1000 PV, I’d love to hear your personal Amway story. How many IBOs did you sponsor?  How big was your group?  How big was your bonus check? Simply post a comment to this message to share your story. I look forward to hearing from you.

What Others Are Saying

“I just reached 1000 PV yesterday. It was my second month in Amway. I have not done much for my group or my own personal business yet, though. I plan on getting a retail base and sponsoring some people who I think will be good for the business this month though, and hopefully my group will keep up the momentum we’ve had. I wonder what my check will look like!” ~ James, Amway distributor

“I am a former Amway distributor.  I spent 11 months in the business.  I reached 1000 PV in my first month.  I sponsored eight people, two who were serious.  I also had a couple personal customers and did about 150 PV personal use.  My first check was for $741.  I was excited.  Within my first 11 months I built up to 6,000 PV, but still had a negative cash flow in my business.  At that point I decided to quit.” ~ Tony, Former Amway distributor

Amway 4000 PV Pin Recognition and Requirements

During my time in Amway, I never reached 4000 PV. Instead, my highest achievement level was 3000-3500 PV.  Although I was really proud of my 2500 PV pin, I really wanted the 4000 PV pin. I worked really hard sponsoring distributors, building a team and retailing products, but could never quite get “over the hump.”

During my time in the Amway business, I personally sponsored 13 Amway distributors and had 67 distributors in my group. I know that isn’t a “huge” accomplishment, but I am proud of my achievements.

amway 4000 pv pinLooking back, I could have easily reached 4000 PV if I would have sponsored another five or six distributors and helped them build a downline. My biggest mistake was trying to get more PV out of my current group. Instead, I should have built another group. Oh well, hind sight is 20-20.

After building my Amway business for 26 months, I decided to move on. While my experience with the company was positive, I got frustrated not achieving the results I desired. Had I stuck with it, I’m sure I would have built a larger group and got better results. I simply did not have the required “skill-set” to build a large Amway business at that time in my life. I had the work ethic, but knew nothing about online or offline marketing. At the time of this writing, I’ve been out of the Amway business for nine years now.

Amway 4000 PV Pin Stories

“I achieved 4,000 PV my second month in the business.  From the time I joined Amway I wanted to build my business fast.  When I hit 4,000 PV my second month I had personally sponsored 23 people.  Of those 23 people, my team had 97 people on it.  My bonus check that month was almost $2,400.  My third month in the business I started Platinum qualification.  That was nearly 12 years ago.  My wife and I are still in the business today (Rubies) and have a very nice side income. ” ~ Alex, Ruby Distributor, Texas

“When I hit 4,000 PV in Amway, way back in the 1970s, I was working my butt off.  It took me 14 months to reach that level.  At the time, I had personally sponsored 19 people, 14 who quit.  Of the five left, my team had grown to almost 100 people.  My bonus check was around $2700 and my cut was almost $2100.  I decided to move on because of all the expenses I was paying to earn that amount. Even though I had a nice bonus check, I was spending that much money in tools, gas, education, travel, etc.” ~ Janet, Former Amway distributor

Final Thoughts

I’m actively looking for former and current Amway distributors who achieved the 4000 PV pin and higher. More importantly, I’m trying to find out how many distributors they sponsored to get to 4000 PV. Also, how big was their group when they hit that pin level? And how big was their bonus check? So, if you are or were in the Amway business and ever reached the 4000 PV pin, please share your story by answering the questions I mentioned above.

All of this information will help other Amway distributors get better results in their business. If you’d like to share your personal Amway success story, just leave a comment to this post. Thanks.

Amway eFinity Training System

eFinity is a training and support system within the Amway business. It is utilized by distributors in Tim Foley’s line of sponsorship. It was started by Founders Crown Tim Foley sometime around 2006. The system provides business support materials to train and motivate Amway Distributors within their line of sponsorship. This includes books, audio programs, websites and seminars. It does business in Canada, the United States, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Barbados, and several other countries.

amway efinitySome of the successful Diamonds in the line of sponsorship include Founders Crown Tim Foley, Double Diamond Bill Childers, Executive Diamond Bubba Pratt, Founders Diamonds Steve and Annette Woods, and many other successful Diamond level distributors. As you can see from the list I just provided, some of Tim Foley’s upline even plugged into the system. That’s quite impressive.

eFinity has a nice website. There was also a little bit of information on Amway Wiki about it. I couldn’t find much else though. From what I did find, the eFinity training system was one of the first accredited Amway business support systems. In my opinion, that’s a good thing. In fact, I find that very impressive. I wish more Amway Training Systems would get their act together.

While the eFinity Motivational Organization does provide real value to its distributors, there is also a lot of controversy surrounding it. The major controversy is the amount of money the successful distributors make from the system, in comparison to their Amway income. In many cases, some of the Diamond level distributors earn significantly more from the system than they earn from Amway. In some cases, their “system” income might be 3, 5, 10 or even 20 times more than their Amway income.

Final Thoughts

I’m trying to find out if you have experience with the eFinity training system. If so, can you share your experiences and tell me what you think about the training system? For instance, have you attended an eFinity function, such as a Dream Night, FED, or Spring Leadership? Were the tools helpful and reasonably priced? What did you learn from the system? Any information you can share would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Schwarz Organization: Successful Together

The Schwarz Organization launched in 1984. It was started by Founders Crown Ambassador 60 FAA Points distributor Max Schwarz.  The purpose of the organization is to train and motivate Amway distributors within its line of sponsorship. The company provides books, seminars, CDs, tapes and other business support materials to help members build a profitable Amway business.

schwarz organizationThe company does business in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, Poland, Czechoslovakia and several other countries. Some of the key leaders include Max Schwarz, Maria Schleipfer, Lora and Alexander Dobler and Anja Schwarz.

The company does provide an additional income for its leaders, in addition to their Amway income.  After doing some research on the organization, it appears that they know what they are doing. They have thousands of successful distributors throughout Europe, and some in the United States.

The only controversy with the Schwarz Organization system is the tool money. Many people complain that the “tool money” is nothing but a scam, because it provides more income for the successful Diamonds than the Amway business opportunity does. I cannot verify this, but I do know that this is a common problem in the Amway business model.

Max Schwarz Videos

Here is a video I found online with Max Schwarz.  Please keep in mind that he is German and the video is in German.

Final Thoughts

If you are a current or former Amway distributor who participated in the Schwarz organization, I would love to hear your story. Please tell us (1) how long you were involved, (2) who your Diamond was, (3) what level of success you achieved, and (4) your personal story. To get started, just leave a comment to this post. Thanks.

Quixtar Problems: My Experience with Quixtar

$
0
0

What were the most common Quixtar problems? I was involved with Quixtar from 2002-2004.  In essence, Quixtar was the new name that Amway North America gave itself from 1999 to the 2007-2008 time-frame. In all other countries, Amway kept its name.

I was introduced to the opportunity from a fellow Army Officer while I was stationed in Colorado. After I watched the business presentation, I signed up immediately. I was so excited. Up until that point in time I had never heard of Amway, Quixtar or network marketing. I was 24 years old.

quixtar problemsWithin a few months of getting started, I started to build momentum in my business. I was sponsoring distributors, building depth, and counseling with my upline. I was plugged into the system. I wasn’t getting rich, but I was making a profit and developing my network marketing skills.

Looking back, there were a few Quixtar problems. I don’t think it had much to do with Quixtar itself. Most of the problems were from the system. I was affiliated with the World Wide Dream Builders. Although it was beneficial, it simply drained my cash-flow each month. For most serious distributors, the system would cost between $200 and $400 per month, depending upon how many tools you purchased. These tools included the standing order tape, books, seminars, Communikate, tools, and other business support materials. While the tools were helpful, the costs were simply too high.

The major Quixtar problems I experienced were the following: (1) an ineffective training system, (2) an overpriced training system, and (3) outdated training techniques. I will explain more below.

1. Ineffective System: Once again, I was affiliated with the WWDB. Like every other system, they claimed that they were the best system in Quixtar. Unfortunately, that system has produced less than 10 new American Diamonds in the past ten years (feel free to verify this yourself). And of the people who qualified as new Diamonds, many of them were Diamonds previously. And almost all of them were Emeralds prior to 1995. That means that new Quixtar distributors were not attaining success using the system. Other systems were experiencing similar results.  We were all taught that if we worked the business hard for two to five years we would be financially independent.  From my experience, that is simply not true.

2. Overpriced System: For the serious distributor, the system would cost somewhere between $200 and $400 per month, minimum. Although most distributors do not use the systems, the ones that do normally lose a lot of money. We all know that it takes a few years to build a substantial part-time income in network marketing. But with distributors losing lots of money each month, few of them stuck around long enough to build a successful Quixtar business. Even worse, many of the profits from the system were lining the pockets of the Diamond level distributors, without the lower level distributors knowing it.  I would have much rather purchased business support tools from the company itself, rather than from my upline.

3. Outdated Training: Distributors were taught how to build their Quixtar business the old fashioned way, using the three foot rule and talking to friends and family. No one was taught how to leverage the internet. No one was taught the principles of attraction marketing or direct mail. And most of the seminars and tapes were of distributors talking about their success stories. Very seldom, if ever, did you learn how to generate leads, how to follow up, how to close a sale, or other relevant information. To this day, I challenge anyone to show me a Quixtar tape with high quality “how to” information. Most of them are motivational, not educational.

quixtar revolutionOn a side note, I must admit that even though there were some Quixtar problems, the idea itself was magnificent. The idea that you could shop from more than 100 different online partner stores from one website, and earn cash back is pretty amazing. Especially, since many of these online stores were popular stores that people would shop at anyway. I actually feel as if Quixtar was a little bit ahead of itself, back when it first launched in 1999.

In addition, I don’t think the systems were totally bad. I did learn lots of beneficial skills that I still use today. But it sure would have been nice to learn “real” network marketing skills (as covered above). And I also wish the systems would come clean and reform some of their deceptive marketing practices. If you read any online Quixtar article, you will find that it is the systems that create most of the problems in Quixtar, not Quixtar or Amway itself.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, there were some Quixtar problems. Within a few short years of launching Quixtar, the company transformed its image back to the original Amway name. Personally, I think this was a good business idea.  Although I never got rich during my Quixtar experience, I became a better person and entrepreneur in the process. And I learned skills that I could take with me to launch other business ventures.

On a side note, I would love to hear from you.  If you spent any time in Quixtar I would really like to hear about the problems you had with Quixtar and/or building your business.  Just leave a comment to share your story.

Advocare Weight Loss Program and Testimonials

The purpose of short this article is to discuss the Advocare weight loss program and its products. What is Advocare weight loss? And how does it work? In case you have never heard of the network marketing company Advocare before, you will be pleasantly surprised to know that they provide a wide variety of health and nutritional products.

In fact, Advocare manufactures plenty of high quality weight loss products. Some of these popular Advocare weight loss products include:

- Herbal Cleanse®

- OmegaPlex®

- Spark®

- Metabolic Nutrition System®

- Meal Replacement Shake

The company even offers a 24-day weight loss challenge. After doing lots of research online, I found plenty of success stories with Advocare weight loss. According to several different websites, the average weight loss was 12-16 pounds per person. Once again, keep in mind this is for a 24-day period.

The retail cost for the products recommended in the 24-day weight loss is about $180, but you can get it cheaper if you become a distributor. To me, that seems like a fair price, especially for someone who really wants to lose some weight.

Advocare Weight Loss Testimonials

These are some testimonials that my website visitors sent to me.

advocare weight loss“My cousin Brock educated me about the Advocare products. He had been using them for about three months before he called me to tell me about them.  I’m a big guy who needed to lose some weight, so I was interested in learning more about the products. After doing some research online, I decided to do a 90 day weight loss challenge with my cousin.  I did the Advocare weight loss program for 90 days. During those 90 days I took the following products:

I ordered 4 of the 24 day packs. Each pack contains:

- One box of Herbal Cleanse – Citrus
- One bottle of OmegaPlex®
- One box of AdvoCare Spark® – Mandarin Orange
- One box of AdvoCare Spark® – Fruit Punch
- Your choice of one box of Meal Replacement Shakes – Chocolate Mocha, Chocolate, Vanilla, Berry, or Non-Dairy Dark Chocolate
- Your choice of one box of MNS® Max 3, C, or E

I also ordered four additional boxes of meal replacement shakes. Each 24 day pack cost me approximately $150, plus tax and shipping. The four additional boxes of meal replacement shakes cost another $200 approximate. So in all I spent about $800 on the products.  That might sound like a lot, but the amount of money I was spending per month on food before I started my challenge was much more than that.  I used the supplements daily and ate one regular meal for dinner per day. My results with my 90 day Advocare weight loss challenge were the following:

- lost seven inches on my stomach
- reduced body fat by 11%
- Lost 53lbs

Of course, I was a big guy when I first got started with the program. My goal is to do another 90 day challenge and lose another 50 lbs. By then I will be at my target weight.” ~ Nolan

“I lost 17 lbs with the Advocare weight loss program.  I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight and I have never felt better.  The products are great, easy to use, and they give me tons of energy.  After being a customer for six months I finally decided to become a  distributor.  I figured that if the products would work for me, they would work for others.  And if I was going to talk about the products anyway, why not get paid to do it.” ~ Heidi, Advocare distributor

Final Thoughts

If you are trying to lose some extra weight, I would recommend trying the Advocare weight loss program. In my opinion, it looks like a pretty good deal. Your key to success is to follow the program, stay disciplined, and don’t revert back to your old habits after you lose the weight.

Advocare V16 Energy Drink Review

What should you know about the Advocare V16 Energy Drink? Let me start by telling you that it is an energy drink for athletes, people looking for more energy, and for people who are sensitive to caffeine. Advocare is a leading health and wellness direct sales company that manufactures a wide assortment of health products.

advocare v16 energy drinkOne box of the V16 Energy Drink contains 28 servings and retails for $38.95 (at the time of this writing). It is caffeine free, but contains plenty of B vitamins, thiamin, folic acid and several other ingredients. From what it says on the company’s website, the energy drink provides energy and mental focus.

This is great for athletes, people who want extra energy, and people looking for caffeine free sports drink. One serving has 20 calories and 5 grams of carbohydrates. It is recommended for people aged 12 and older.   From what I can tell, the V16 Energy Drink is quite comparable with Gatorade, PowerAde and other leading sports drinks. It’s also priced competitively.

On a side note, if you have tried the V16 Energy Drink before, I would love to hear from you. What do you like about the product? What flavor does it come in? What type of results have you got with it? To share your story, just leave a comment to this post. Thanks.

Get More Herbalife Customers: My Top 10 Tips

$
0
0

If you’re like most Herbalife distributors, you aren’t doing very well with your business. And the primary reason for that is because you don’t have enough retail customers. To help you solve that problem, I want to share ten tips to get more Herbalife customers.  These tips are listed in no particular order.

1. Start a Blog or Website

The first thing I recommend you do is start your own blog or website. You could create a Herbalife themed website or create a wellness website. You could blog about the products and get customers that way. If you are serious about your business, you need a website.

herbalife customers2. Do In Home Parties

In home parties are a great way to get new Herbalife customers. You could invite over 5-10 friends and do a party at your house. From there you can book in home parties with excited guests and branch off from there. The beauty of doing in home parties is that you can share the products to a group of people at once. This creates excitement and lets you work smart by leveraging your time.

3. Share Catalogs with Friends and Family

Another simple thing you can do to get more Herbalife customers is to share catalogs with friends and family members. Order 10 catalogs and then share them with everyone you know. Make sure you follow up with the person promptly to answer their questions and take their order.

4. Create a Referral Program

Another way to get more Herbalife customers is to create a referral program. You could offer someone a free product for anyone they recommend who becomes a customer of yours. Or, you could offer them a cash incentive or gift card. Find out what they want and give it to them, if they send you new customers.

5. Wear the Button

Mark Hughes was right when he talked about wearing the button. This is quite perhaps the easiest way to get new Herbalife customers. Wear the Herbalife button whenever you are out and about. People will ask you about it. Just have a simple response you can use to answer their question. Be sure to give them a business card and get their contact information, too.

6. Direct Mail

Direct mail is still a very effective way to find customers for any type of business. You could use a simple postcard or sales letter. You could buy a targeted mailing list for people looking to lose weight and go from there.

7. Fliers

Fliers still work. Lots of people have achieved success with fliers. Your key to success is to hand out lots of fliers in areas where your “ideal prospect” will be. This includes gyms, food stores, wellness clinics, etc.

8. Attend Networking Events

Networking events are a great way to meet new Herbalife customers. Just focus on building a relationship and getting to know the other person a bit before you start talking about your products.

9. Prospecting

While most people don’t enjoy doing this, prospecting does work. Most of us come in contact with hundreds of potential Herbalife customers each day. It’s up to us to put a smile on our face, stick out our hand and introduce ourselves to the other person.

10. Newspaper Advertising

Don’t overlook advertising in your local newspaper.  This is a simple, effective and low cost way to find new customers.  You could advertise something weight loss related to get people to call you.  All you have to do is follow up with the people who call.

Final Thoughts

If you are serious about your Herbalife business, you need to have retail customers (lots of them). This allows you to create immediate profits in your business. I believe it’s a lot easier to find customers than it is to go out and sponsor people. By following my top 10 tips to get more Herbalife customers, you should get much better results in your business.  Please know that not every technique will work with every person. Your key to success is to pick one or two methods that work for you and then take massive action. By doing so, you will acquire lots of Herbalife customers.

What are your thoughts?

Youngevity Slender FX Shake Review

$

0

Youngevity Slender FX is a product line formatted to help with weight loss, nutrition, and in reaching and maintaining optimum health. With the last two reviews I did regarding some of the products by Youngevity Slender FX, I did not find much in regard to comments, questions, or even customer reviews on the products. I have kept searching, however, as I want to make sure that it’s not just me fumbling around looking for more information, but an effort to find any other reviews or comments about the products.

youngevity slender fx shakeIn this article, I will be looking at and reviewing Youngevity Slender FX Meal Replacement Shakes. From what little bit I was able to gather on the other products (Food Fiber FX and Cleanse FX both by Youngevity Slender FX) there isn’t much. I will later contribute an article based on my own experience with certain products, what works best, and best prices.

Youngevity Slender FX: Meal Replacement Shake

From what information I could gather, this is the basis of the Meal Replacement Shakes offered by Youngevity Slender FX:

-110 calories per serving

-offers multiple nutrients, vitamins, and minerals needed to give you the energy necessary to take on your day

-so far all I can find is Vanilla and Chocolate flavors available

-supports physical, mental, and emotional levels of energy and health

But once again, I cannot find any contact information through the actual company’s website. From this experience, I am guessing that it is a product line (much like Amway or Melaleuca franchises but seemingly sold everywhere else!) where people buy in and begin to market and sell what they are given; in this case, the Youngevity Slender FX product line. I am not sure if this is the reality of it, but I have not seemed to find anything that points in the direction of a sole product provider.

I was also able to find it again on Amazon, supralife.org, and a review on YouTube. According to the Supralife website the shake mix is easy to use (duh) and is available (so far that I’ve seen) in chocolate and vanilla flavors. But it does offer the nutrients, vitamins and minerals necessary to support healthy weight loss and boost stamina and energy levels. The pricing I have found has ranged from $29.99 to $49 (as found on Amazon). So while not too terribly expensive, I have found great meal replacement shakes (in a variety of flavors, too) at my local health food store, and GNC usually carries less expensive ones as well.

Final thoughts on Youngevity Slender FX Meal Replacement Shake

I have not tried it, although I’m not opposed to incorporating a meal replacement shake into my daily diet. There are some important nutrients included in the product and ones that do help support healthy metabolism, energy levels, and overall maintain your track on healthy weight loss. Since this does offer the vitamins/minerals and nutrients your body needs, I would give it a try after discussing with a doctor or nutritionist.

Youngevity is a very successful health and wellness network marketing company. One of the ways the company promotes itself is through their Get Skinny Contest. This is similar to the Visalus “Body By Vi” Challenge.  In essence, the contest offers a way to create a friendly competition between distributors and customers, to get publicity for the company, and also to offer a great way to generate more sales in your team.

Both distributors and customers can enter the Get Skinny Contest. To get started, all they need to do is to fill out an application online, purchase a Slender FX® Weight Management System, take some before and after photos and provide a testimonial when they are finished.

According to the official website, you must be 18 or older to participate. The Corporate Committee will pick the winners each month. The company gives away lots of cool prizes such as free products, Reebok® gear and even paid trips.

I’ve found that contests are a great way to build momentum and growth in any business. You can leverage the Get Skinny Contest to get more product orders from your current customers and distributors, to create a friendly competition with current distributors, and to make more money.

Best of all, you can participate in the contest yourself to lose weight and improve your health. And you can help others do the same. Simply put, it’s a win-win situation for everyone involved.

1. The Product Line: Xango offers a great product line; especially with their mangosteen juice. There are only a few other companies that sell mangosteen juice and Xango is the leader in that field. More importantly, their products come with a money back guarantee. They also offer vitamins, personal care items, skin care items, weight loss stuff and more.  Their products are consumable and get used up and reordered every month.

2. Great Reputation: When it comes to MLM Companies, Xango is one of the industry leaders. They have a great reputation. And reputation is very important in this industry. You don’t want to partner with a company that has a bad reputation. You don’t want to say your company name to a prospect and have them run the other way. More importantly, Xango has been around since 2002. This means they’ve been around a day or two and worked out most of the kinks in the compensation plan, distributor agreement, and marketing plan.  They are positioned for long-term growth.

3. Compensation Plan: Xango offers a uni-level compensation plan, which is my favorite type of compensation plan. This means you can sponsor as many people as you want personally, and have them directly under you. Additionally, you can earn money by selling the products to customers. You also get leadership bonuses.  If you are motivated and know how to sell, you can make a lot of money.

While there are many other great things about Xango, these are my favorite three things.

What Others Are Saying

“Thanks for telling us what you like about Xango, Chuck. I think Xango is a great company. I would like to add in a few more things that I like about Xango.

1. Proven Track Record - The company has been around 10 years now and is in it for the long haul. They ship the products on time and pay their distributors on time.

2. Great Company Leadership - Xango has great leaders that are product and distributor focused. They care about their distributors and treat them well.

3. Great Training - The company has great online and offline training. They have local seminars, online resources, and great training materials. If you are trying to learn how to do something, the company has a resource to help you succeed.

4. Exceptional Growth - The company has experienced phenomenal growth during the past ten years, doing multiple billions of dollars. Not too many direct sales companies can say that.

As you can see, there are many things to like about Xango. Of all the thousands of direct sales companies out there, I would say that it is in the top 20 companies doing business today. If you haven’t checked out Xango, you should!” ~ Tony

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, the Xango business is a great business opportunity for the self-motivated person looking to get involved in direct sales. Although I am not a distributor, I am a big fan because of their great product line, great reputation and exceptional compensation plan.

How to Sell More Xango Juice

In this short article, I want to discuss my top 3 ways to sell more Xango juice. In case you don’t already know this, Xango is a leading direct sales company specializing in mangosteen juice. They also have several other core line products.  If you are a Xango distributor, you need customers. In fact, you need to sell lots of Xango juice, so you can earn a retail profit and generate sales volume in your business. In order to sell more Xango juice, try following these three simple tips.

1. Hand Out Samples: One of the best ways to sell a product is to give out samples. If you’ve ever visited a Sam’s Club Store, you know what I am talking about. When you walk around the store, they always have 5-10 different booths with employees sampling the products with customers. As a result, they generate more sales. You need to apply this same concept in your Xango business. One of the best ways to sell more Xango juice is to let people have free samples. If the product is good, people will order more. Just make sure you follow up with the people you gave samples to.

2. Create a Referral Program: This is probably the most underutilized selling method. Another great way to sell more Xango juice is to create a referral program with your non-business builder distributors and customers. You should offer product discounts or even cash bonuses for referrals. At a minimum, get at least five referrals from everyone you talk with. And when you talk to those referrals, ask them for more referrals. By following this simple advice, you will always have someone to talk to without having to buy leads.

3. Don’t Force the Business Opportunity: While I think the Xango business opportunity is wonderful, some people don’t feel the same way. In fact, many Xango distributors try to “push the business opportunity” to their customers and friends. What they don’t realize is that most of their customers only want to be customers. If they wanted to be a distributor, they would have already done so. Never forget this simple advice. Don’t look down on someone just because they don’t want to build a business. To succeed in direct sales, you need lots of customers. So treat your customers well.

What Our Visitors Said

“I’ve been with Xango for five years now. I’m not the greatest at sponsoring people and building a team, but I am a retailing machine! I have more than 100 personal customers and absolutely love the Xango products. I want to share a few tips I recommend for selling more Xango juice.

1. Have Sampling Parties – I host sampling parties all the time. I keep a couple bottles in the trunk of my car, along with a few empty cups. Whenever I meet someone who shows an interest in the product line, I open up the trunk and do a sample on the spot. In many cases, the person buys a bottle or two right after they try a sample.

2. Focus on Your Target Market – Not everyone will be a potential customer. I recommend you focus most of your efforts on people who are health oriented and are accustomed to purchasing juices. The typical person is not a prospect. You need people who really care about their health and are willing to spend money on nutritional products.

3. Know Your Products – You have to know your products. You must familiarize yourself with the ingredients, benefits and side effects of the Xango juice. You need to be able to educate your customer, answer their questions, and help them make an informed decisions.

4. Develop a Marketing Plan – You need to come up with a written marketing plan to sell more Xango juice. You should develop a strategy, a marketing budget, the hours you will work your business, and how you will spend your time. Failing to plan is planning to fail.

I’ve been selling Xango juice for five years now with great success. It’s not that difficult to do if you follow the advice I mentioned in this post.” ~ Frank

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, these are three of my favorite tips to sell more Xango juice. These tips work for the most successful distributors and then can work for you. Your key to success is to lead with the products and treat everyone you meet with respect. Treat your customers like gold and always leave the door open for the business opportunity.

Terry and Fran Woodhead are/were very successful distributors in the Amway business. They joined the business in the late 1970s or early 1980s. They went Emerald in 1983 and Diamond in 1987. From what I found online, they are currently Emeralds in Amway.

amway business cardTheir upline diamonds are Dave and Jan Severn. Their largest leg is Greg and Julie Duncan. They are affiliated with the World Wide Dream Builders line of sponsorship. Also known as WWDB, the World Wide Dream Builders training system provides tools, books, CDs, seminars and other business support materials to its Amway distributors.

They built their Amway business the old-fashioned way. They held in-home meetings, team calls, and one-on-one presentations to share the Amway products and business opportunity with others. They built their business exclusively through word of mouth. Over a period of many years, they built a group with tens of thousands of distributors in it (maybe more than that).

They are dynamic leaders who helped many others duplicate their success with Amway. They are a true credit to our industry and to Amway. They are passionate speakers, wonderful communicators, awesome motivators, and great trainers. If you have ever worked with them personally, I would love to hear your story. Please tell us when you met them, how you know them and how long you have worked with them.  Just leave a comment to this post to share your story. Thanks.

Testimonials

“Terry and Fran Woodhead were our upline (Brad & Julie were our upline Diamonds). We were visiting family in Idaho and asked if we could stop by their house. They were so gracious and kind to welcome us into their home for a brief visit. It felt so nice to have such a successful couple in our upline take some time out to spend with us. We never even made it to the 1000 PV pin, but we loved all the people and every minute of every function. We’ll never forget them.” ~ Former Idaho Amway Distributor

“I met Terry and Fran Woodhead at an Amway convention sometime in the 1980s.  I was part of their team and was very excited about the business.  They did a really good job teaching me about the business and providing training for their team.  Although I only stuck around in Amway for a few years I will never forget all the help them gave me.  They taught me a lot about setting goals, hanging out with positive people and continuously improving myself.  I am forever grateful.” ~ Joe Smith

The Isagenix IsaLean Rich Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake is a wonderful weight loss product. One canister weighs 30.10 ounces and contains 14 servings. Each serving has 230 calories. The shake is barley free, wheat free, gluten free and has no trans fat.  Additionally, there are 23 grams of protein and 28g of carbohydrates per serving.

isalean shakesTo make one shake, you use 2 scoops plus 8 ounces of water. You can also blend it with ice. Some people even add fruit, such as bananas to modify the taste.  For the suggested use, you can replace one or two meals per day with the shake.

The Isagenix IsaLean Rich Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake contains more than 23 different vitamins. One canister sells for $39. That means it costs $2.79 per serving, excluding shipping and tax. Although this is more expensive than most other shakes you can buy, it is a good product.  I’ve found that you can get an even better price if you shop around on Amazon, on eBay or ask your local distributor for a discount.

I used the shakes for a few months myself, but eventually decided to switch to a more inexpensive product.

Videos About the Isagenix IsaLean Shakes

Here are a couple interesting videos I found on YouTube that explain more about the IsaLean Shakes. Enjoy.

Isagenix IsaLean Shake Testimonials

Here are some testimonials that my website visitors sent in.

“I’ve used the IsaLean shakes for about three full months now.  During that time I’ve lost 37 lbs.  While some people claim that the price is too high, I really disagree.  Most of us spent a lot more than $3 per meal, so you can really save money while you get healthy drinking the IsaLean shakes.  All I do is replace two meals a day (breakfast and lunch) with an IsaLean shake.” ~ Margaret F.

“These IsaLean Chocolate Shakes are really awesome.  My son introduced them to me four months ago and I’ve been hooked ever since.  Money is a bit tight in my household so I only have one shake a day. I go through about two cannisters a month, which cost me about $90.  However, I now have so much more energy and feel great.  I’ve even lost 22 lbs since I stared using the shakes.  Not bad for an old lady.” ~ Rose C.

Dave and Bev Vance Amway WWDB Emeralds

I’m writing this post to find out if anyone knows the current status of Dave and Bev Vance in Amway? They were cross-line in my line of sponsorship in the Mike and Barb Popovich organization. When I knew them, they had just achieved the status as “Emeralds,” sometime around 2002 or 2003. They were Q12 winners in 2002.

During my time in Amway from 2002 to 2004, I interacted with Dave and Bev Vance several times. They even had a Rally tape. They hosted several local seminars in Colorado Springs and taught classes within the Danzik and Popovich organizations. From my perception, they were just regular folks and were very easy to relate with.

They were such great people. Dave had a great personality. He was humble and very easy to get along with. Dave was an outstanding salesman and leader. Bev was great, too. I believe his daughter was a Direct Distributor in the business as well.

If anyone knows what they are doing now, please leave a comment. It would be nice to hear how they are doing now.

Mike and Robin Carroll are/were Diamonds in the Amway business. They joined the company in the 1980s. They qualified Emerald in 1991 and Diamond in 1994. They are affiliated with the World Wide Dream Builders line of sponsorship. Their upline diamond is Joe and Norma Foglio.

mike carrollPrior to joining Amway, Mike was a Navy Seal. They have one downline diamond, Frank and Lynn Radford. They built their Amway business the old-fashioned way. They held in-home meetings, conference calls and one-on-one presentations to share the Amway products and business opportunity with others.

From what I read online, Mike resigned from the Navy right before he was eligible for retirement. Apparently, they achieved so much success with Amway that they didn’t need the military pension.  UPDATE: After doing some research online, Mike re-entered the Navy and deployed to Iraq after 9/11.  He went on to retire from the Navy.

I also remember listening to one of Mike’s tapes. I believe it was his Rally Tape. He was a powerful and energetic speaker. His passion for the Amway business really shined through when he spoke. I’m not sure if they are still active with their Amway business or not.

They are outstanding leaders and speakers who helped many others duplicate their success with Amway. They are a true credit to our industry. If you were going to join Amway today, you would want sponsors like Mike and Robin Carroll.

Bob and Shelly Kummer are Founders Diamonds in the Amway business. They joined the business in the late 1980s or early 1990s. They qualified Emerald in 1993, Founders Emerald in 1997, Diamond in 2003, and Founders Diamond in 2009. Their upline Diamonds are David and Darlene Duncan. They are affiliated with the World Wide Dream Builders line of sponsorship.

Prior to joining Amway, Bob Kummer was in the telecommunications industry. I believe he worked for MCI. He was also a track star who almost qualified for the 1984 Olympics. I’m not sure what Shelly did for a living prior to Amway.

kummer photoThey built their Amway business using old school MLM techniques. They plugged into the WWDB System and started listening to tapes and attending functions. They prospected strangers, held in home parties, had one-on-one meetings and focused on sponsoring new distributors. As new people joined their team, they shifted their efforts and started working in depth.

They are dynamic leaders with exceptional people skills, communication skills, and sales and marketing skills. If you’ve ever listened to Bob speak at a function, you will know what I’m talking about. They’re still very active in the Amway business, and they continue to participate in the functions and training seminars.

Mike and Barb Popovich Amway Diamonds

What should you know about Amway Quixtar Diamonds Mike and Barb Popovich? Let me start by telling you that this wonderful couple were my upline Diamonds during my time in Amway. My personal sponsor was Keith and Rhonda Gramprie, who were Ruby Direct Distributors in their own right. And they were personally sponsored by Mike and Barb Popovich.

I participated in Amway from 2002-2004. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I did not get rich or achieve phenomenal success, but I did achieve moderate success. I made some money, had some fun, and learned a lot about entrepreneurship.

mike and barb popovich amwayThe lessons I learned from my sponsor, Mike and Barb, and the other Diamonds still benefits me today. I still believe that Amway (or any network marketing company) is a great business school that will teach you valuable skills such as marketing, recruiting, advertising, business finances, leadership, and so much more. You can take the skills you learn and succeed in any business venture.

Mike and Barb Popovich originally joined Amway in the 1990s. I’m not sure of the exact year. They achieved the Diamond level pin in the early 2000s, sometime around 2001. They are still active in their Amway business today. I’m not sure of their current status, but I believe they are still Diamonds.

They both attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and served several years as Active Duty Air Force Officers. By trade, they were engineers. They learned about the Amway business opportunity from an alumnus of the Air Force Academy. Apparently, they were cold called and shown the business plan. They saw the potential in the business plan and got started right away.

Their upline diamonds are Executive Diamonds Howie and Theresa Danzik, who are also located in Colorado Springs. Barb’s sister and brother in law, Mark and Elizabeth Schaible are Rubies in their organization, too. They also have several other Platinum and Ruby level legs in their group. Through the years, Mike and Barb Popovich have personally mentored hundreds of Amway Distributors in their group, helping them make money and achieve success.

As I mentioned earlier, Mike Popovich was one of my mentors, during my time in Amway. He is a really great guy with a big heart. He invested lots of time (and some money) helping me build my downline. He always answered my questions honestly and he did what he could to help me grow my team. I am very grateful to have participated in Mike and Barb’s line of sponsorship. I honestly can’t think of a better couple to work with in the Amway business.

Mike and Barb Popovich are affiliated with the World Wide Dream Builders line of sponsorship. This group, frequently referred to as WWDB is located in Spokane, Washington. It was created by Ron and Georgia Lee Puryear. The purpose of WWDB is to provide training and motivation to Amway distributors in its line of sponsorship. They offer CDs, seminars, books and other helpful business support materials.

If you are thinking about joining the Amway business opportunity, Mike and Barb Popovich are the type of sponsors you would want to have. You can learn more about them by visiting the WWDB website.

Al and Kathy Gallo Amway Diamonds

Al and Kathy Gallo are Diamond level distributors in the Amway business. Prior to joining Amway, they owned a floral shop. Their upline diamonds are Jim and Judy Head. They joined the business in the 1980s.

They are affiliated with the World Wide Dream Builders. They built their Amway business by sharing the products and business opportunity with friends and family members via in-home meetings and one-on-one presentations.

As they sponsored new distributors, they helped them grow their business too. As a result of their leadership, they went Emerald in 1986 and Diamond in 1987. I’m not sure if they are still active in the Amway business or not.

I never had the change to meet Al or Kathy Gallo while I was in Amway. I did listen to several of their motivational tapes though. They seemed like a really easy going and nice couple. I really enjoyed listening to Al speak.

Testimonials

“I worked with the Gallo’s when my wife and I were all getting started with Amway. I knew Al when he owned the flower shop. I started building my Amway business with them. Shortly thereafter, my wife separated from me. From then on, they refused to work with me. I found them to be arrogant, self righteous and much to religious. In other words a flake is a flake whether they are in Amway or not.” ~ Al Feldman

Final Thoughts

If you know about their current status with Amway, or have worked with them personally in Amway I would love to hear from you.
